A New Card Style for Me

Hello. I had a "stay home day" today. I actually stayed home ha ha. Ya sounds nuts doesn't it. I don't stay home often. So today I felt creative. I was inspired by the tutorials at Splitcoaststampers.com. Because I don't have the exact stamp shone on the tutorials I improvised. of course lol.

Here is the first one I created. This card opens like a gate. The smaller oval is also the latch. I used basic white cs to stamp on. The congratulations stamp is CTMH. The flower pot stamp is Stampin up. The small paper flowers and brads are from MemoryWorks.

This is the inside of the card. It is left blank so that a note can be hand written.

This card is also from the splitcoaststampers site. It is called the flap card. The paper is from Creative memories, White cs and neutral are from a local craft store or department store. The stickers are from CTMH My Stickease and the paper flower is from MW. The sticker "It's a Beautiful Day" is also the latch to keep the card closed.

The inside of the flap card. Again blank to personalize with a note.

This is also a flap card. Paper from CM, flower's from MW, and the stickers are from CTMH. The sticker is the latch for this card.

This is the inside of the flap card. Again it is blank for that personal note.

Well, I had fun today just playing with my craft stuff , working on these cards. How fun!! I need more days like this one. Mmmmm but, then I wouldn't get any house work done. I guess I couldn't do this everyday. Ya, it will be a while before I will have this kind of day again. This weekend I will have my grandchildren over. We are going to the beach on Saturday, if the weather is good. Can't wait! Gonna bring my camera and take lots of pics. Ok well it is really late and I need to go to bed. Got some things to do tomorrow before the kids come over on Friday. Like getting groceries, stuff like that. Good night.
